Opera Revue & Opera Atelier present a Bridgerton-esque masked ball, complete with a fantastic display by Opera Atelier’s costume and wardrobe department AND featuring some of their world renowned court dancers. Are you in Versailles or The Redwood Theatre?!? You’ll be sure to forget at some point. But don’t lose your head.
This collaboration will highlight their upcoming show Acis and Galatea by Handel along with some fun, spooky opera and musical theatre! Did we mention costumes?? Costumes are highly encouraged to be worn by our audiences and a prize will be given to the best in show.

Eric Da Silva
DANCER
Eric Cesar de Mello da Silva is a versatile and dynamic dancer who has graced the stages of some of the world’s most prestigious ballet companies; with a background in both the National Ballet of Canada and the Royal Danish Ballet. With talent and passion for dance Eric has honed his craft and developed a deep appreciation for the beauty and complexity of Baroque art. Now as a member of Opera Atelier he is excited to continue his artistic journey and share his love for this timeless art form with our audiences.

Julia Sedwick
DANCER
Julia Sedwick is a professional dancer based in Toronto. Ms. Sedwick graduated from Canada’s National Ballet School and began her career at The National Ballet of Canada. She has performed as a guest with Les Grands Ballet Canadiens and has been a company member at Opera Atelier since 2010, with whom she has enjoyed many productions in Toronto and abroad.

Benjamin Done
TENOR
Benjamin Done, tenor, completed his Master of Music degree at the University of Toronto Opera School. Originally from Georgetown, Ontario, Ben completed his Bachelor of Arts (honours) in Music, majoring in Piano, and his Bachelor of Education at Laurentian University in Sudbury, Ontario. His operatic roles include Mr. Splinters in The Tender Land, Babylas in Monsieur Choufleuri, Ein Weiser in Hin und Zurük, Hamlet in the student-composer-collective Disobedience, Charles Darnay in A Tale of Two Cities, John Adams in The Mother of Us All, “Casey” Baldwin in The Bells of Baddeck, and Marco Palmieri from The Gondoliers. On the concert stage Ben has been featured as tenor soloist in Mozart’s Requiem and Bach’s Christmas Oratorio. In the 2024/25 season, Benjamin will be performing the tenor solos from Handel’s Messiah, Mozart’s Solemn Vespers, and Haydn’s Paukenmesse, as well as beginning his first season with the Canadian Opera Company Chorus.
